The workshop exceeded my expectations.
Really good explanation of the workings of anatomy. It was great to observe how different bodies work and learn what each one needs to help adjust their everyday movements and habits. Also the exercises you have sent each of us after the workshop have been very helpful.
I found the workshop gave me time to slow down and reflect on my movements and areas of tightness in my body. I found the information and discussion on footwear really helpful too.Gail Ferriman
I wasn’t sure what to expect other than build on what we do in the regular classes. It certainly did that and made me much more conscious of my feet during Monday’s regular class. I was surprised how much more movement there was in the mid and rear of the foot.
I really liked having only 8 people. It felt very personal. The working in pairs was also really helpful. As well as feeling it for myself, I could then look at the movement on someone else and get down on my hands and knees to look at their feet in a way I can’t look at mine.
I liked focusing on one part of the body. The interconnectivity between my feet, ankles, hips and (knees to a lesser extent).

I really enjoyed the Integration and Play Workshop this morning. I like exercise when it is cunningly disguised as fun! It was also good to work with other people I don’t know. I would certainly recommend it to my friends.Caroline Wheeler
What I enjoyed the most about the Shoulders and Upper Back workshop was the fact in a short space of time it was possible to ‘free’ the body up – really showed how scrunched up I am without realising. Made me very conscious of my shoulders always being up – the last few days I am continually aware & trying to let them go. I do still feel I am walking taller though.Carole Stapley

It was so enjoyable to be slightly challenged, mentally and physically, doing things that you certainly wouldn’t do in “normal” life! I like the teaching bits as well.
The Integration & Play Workshop is a very good tie-in to an excellent set of workshops.
Many thanks for the excellent workshop. I couldn’t believe 2 hours went so quickly and you certainly woke up parts of my body that were ‘snoozing’. I think that understanding how your body and muscles work is important and interesting. I will certainly be attending future ones.Sue Darwin

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your Feet, Hips & Lower Back workshop. It was interesting, informative and I learned so much about my own feet etc, all very useful indeed. I found it fascinating looking at everyone else’s feet and seeing the differences.June Holden
